Here's MY Happy thought, Peter!

Do you ever just see or hear something that makes life BETTER?

Exhibit A:

Little kids have this UNENDLESS energy and confidence.  I know I had it when I was her age.  It just gets so chipped away at by the world.  Somehow we have GOT to get it back.

Exhibit B: Ola and EVERYTHING he says to me.

Exhibit C. If all else fails, Eat Nutrigrain.

Critters and Ola. Yup, Luv.

True to my title Life of a Crazy Cat Lady (Sans Cats) this weekend I tentative have adopted another critter into my life and I already adore her.  Squall's little girls, JanBrady and Mini-Squall had a chinchilla named Snowflake at their Dad, G's house.  And he decided to dump it to I have her now.  I have borrowed her a few times already to do Critters 2 Go.  But now she is mine (until my Padre flips out.  He KNOWS, but is just sorta grumbling and accepting).  I am also re-naming her Fable, except around the Squalls kiddlets.  She is hopping around the tent with her new toys and just being the adorable, semi-mind-less fluffball she is.  I lWUVSHER!

And speaking of LOVE, MyNigerian pulled me out of a very deep Depression hole this week after I have been sick and I am just so grateful for him I wanted to cry today.  Instead I prayed.  Because SAYING thank you is a lot better than crying it. hee hee!  He is such a blessing.

Let's hear it for Mamas!

This has been a great Mother's Day. All of us kids went to Mom's ward for church.  Including me! I had a headache but made it through.   It was so good to talk about moms, motherhood, and even just having a "mother heart."   It was a very good Sunday. Then they gave all the woman 18 and up (weather they were moms or not) chocolates! YUMMY!

BoyKid and I have been sitting around composing lyrics to one of his many songs on his guitar. I must admit, the kid has TALENT.  Especially his "Wedding Song" and "Shoes."  Good stuff.  Eventually, if he can pull together a band OR get enough confidence to realize he is good enough not to NEED a band he is going to have a good little run of fame.  LITTLE mind you, but MAYBE big as Colors. Maybe.  I have been wearing the little crown I bought at Renaissance Faire all day because *blush* it makes me feel special.  I offered it to Mom to wear because HELLO, MOTHER'S day but she only wore it to receive her present then wanted it off claiming it was uncomfortable, but personally *I* don't mind it at all. Hmmmm...

We gave her a plate we made her at Color Me Mine.  We had our 3 names on it.  She liked it, of course. :)

Yesterday I went with Megs and Rinny to the Renaissance Faire. I was dressed as a Peasant Fairy. I had red butterfly wings. I got a picture with a bunch of other fairies. There was jousting on horses, sword fighting, and wandering sing minstrels. Rinny dressed as a fancy lady. Megan was going to have a costume but at the last moment had to in normal clothes, but as a joke she wore a baseball cap that said "Princess" on it. We had a lot of fun! I was having so much fun, I forgot to get out my camera very much!  But I still got a few pictures that I will put up on Facebook.
Anyway, now BoyKid and I are going to watch Little Mermaid while mom goes and relaxes and reads.  She is going to read The Help, then I am.  *I* am reading the last Fablehaven. :D Yup. hee hee hee!

How Bazaar How Bazaar

Today I went with Megan and T-La to the Beehive Bazaar event at work at the show barn. Sort of like a bunch of Etsy shops live and in person. SUCH cute stuff!  Mostly, I collected  ideas of things *I* can make.  It was a lot of  "oooh! We can do that!"  But I did buy some awesome note pad journal things. So cool!

TOMORROW if going to be another fun day with Megan... RENAISSANCE FAIR!

Sucky Sunday.

I have been a little sad today. I woke up this morning from nightmares... HORRIBLE nightmares... and a screaming headache.  So no, even after meds (all ineffectual) I did NOT make it to church.  Then I watched a fireside which happened to be at BYU-Hawaii and I went from awww I miss it there to Ola would like it there to it would be just as hard to move there as here for him and I could not have my gliders to oh please let him like living here to this gloom about whether I will be enough for him if he DOESN'T like it here.

Today has been sucky.

Orphans!

I have this idea I just started. I am trying to get a group together of friends who want to make things for orphanages all over the world through LDS services.  They always need all kinds of toys and clothes and teach you to make them so I started a little club to go a couple times a week called the OrFUN Crafts and Service Club!  I think it will be fun... plus help orphans! :)

This week I was on top of a chair trying to get something from my glider room and I got dizzy and fell off the chair and into my shelves.  I hurt my shoulder pretty badly. I may have torn something... I am getting it checked out. Also twisted my ankel and hurt my wrist worse.  Luckily all of this was my left side so I am not completely incapacitated or anything, just pretty gimpy and REALLY hurting.

WHY am I such a klutz?!

Anyway, we will see if my shoulder is pulled (I hope.) or torn later this week.

Now I am watching Jungle Book with little bro, BoyKid who has moved home for the summer (And I am still living both places).  I have a major headache though. So I am hurting in lots of ways right now and my mind is elsewhere (okay, I admit it. It's on MyNigerian..)
